What gender norms do women align with, and what norms do they defy?

Answer :

Bro has one of “THOSE” teachers, an actual answer I don’t think people go to any gender norms, and everyone is different, I do however think that people statistically have differences based on their gender. I don’t know what your teacher would actually want me to list, so I’m not going to list anything. But that’s for u.

Aligning with gender norms: Traditional family roles and Appearance. Defying gender norms: Workforce participation and Leadership roles.

This dynamic process benefits society by promoting equality, diversity, and greater freedom of choice for everyone.

Aligning with gender norms:

  1. Traditional family roles: In many cultures, women are expected to take on the primary caregiver role, looking after children and managing household duties. This norm aligns with historical expectations that women should be nurturing and focused on family life.

  2. Appearance: Women are often expected to conform to societal standards of beauty, which can involve dressing in a feminine manner, using makeup, and maintaining certain body standards.

Defying gender norms:

  1. Workforce participation: By seeking employment outside the household, women are defying the norm that confines them to domestic roles. This has allowed many women to achieve financial independence and gain decision-making power within their families.

  2. Leadership roles: Women taking on leadership roles in politics, business, and other fields challenge the notion that leadership is a male domain. This defiance helps break down barriers and opens opportunities for future generations.
