I need someone to check my translations to make sure they are correct.

1. Horatius, impetu hostis incepto, suos homines petere salutem in urbe iussit.

*My Translation:* Horatius, begins an attack against the enemy, his men seek greetings in city order.

2. Homines ab Horatio pontem delere iussi erant.

*My Translation:* But the men were under orders to destroy the bridge by Horatio?

3. Is suis (his own) viris dixit "hostes consistam".

*My Translation:* His own men say, "enemy stand still".

4. Hostibus venientibus, duo amici cum Horatio remanserunt.

*My Translation:* Enemies coming, two friends remain with Horatio.

5. Hi tres viri boni pontem paulisper defenderant.

*My Translation:* The three good men defend the bridge for a little while.
