Large number of kids probably skip lunch because the cafeteria food is of poor quality and flavor. Students often debate what would be three changes they would make to the lunch menu at their school. If given the choice, they would probably choose chocolate ice cream, fried chicken, or cake every single day for lunch.
I would eliminate wheat pancakes, pizza, and refried beans from the lunch menu at my school if I had the choice. The flavor of and aftertaste of the wheat pancakes have never been good. The beans always have a crusty, dark layer on top, and the pizza cheese is rotten.
Wheat pancakes, pizza, and refried beans would be swapped out for crepes and fresh fruit if I could. additional material Egg and cheese sandwiches, miniature maple pancakes, and sausage croissants are a few of the dishes they provide. These are all pre-packaged, and the workers only need to reheat them in an oven.
Another issue is that our school's website features our menu and is updated daily, but whenever it features a photo of the food they would be serving, it does not resemble the meals served at school. First and foremost, instructors in all schools need to understand that they are accountable for the future of their children.
